Texas Tech Fires Mike Leach

Not sure how I feel about this. Leach has been very successful at the school and has a ton of support from current and former players. If there was anything intentional done to harm a player, well, that’s not good. But one thing is safe to say: the media can now stop using any “War” metaphors for football. Because the “pussification” of America has made it to college football with player complaints. Mark Mangino of Kansas lost his job because of it, USF coach Jim Leavitt was under review for an alleged incident, and now Leach has been fired. Note that Leach could have left Texas Tech last season (or this one) for virtually any job in the country but chose to stay.
Expect Baylor coach Art Briles to be a top target along with Sonny Dykes, the Arizona OC. Others include Houston coach Kevin Sumlin, Tommy Tubberville, currect Texas Tech DC Ruffin McNeill, and USM coach Larry Fedora.
