To announce they are leaving in the morning would mean forfeiting all their tourney revenue. It’s pointless since Temple isn’t leaving until AFTER next season. So if Butler, VCU and GMU wait until July 1 of 2013, they can join for the 2014 season and get another years worth of tourney shares. The A10 can then use the forfeited Temple shares to help compensate the 3 schools.
