Loyola University Chicago Loyola to the Missouri Valley ConferenceLoyola will join the Missouri Valley Conference this July. The Chicago school was selected over other candidates to replace the departing Creighton, which will join the Big East. Illinois-Chicago has been falsely reported as being the first school selected as Creighton’s replacement, but ultimately Loyola was selected first. Schools such as Illinois-Chicago, Missouri-Kansas City and Oral Roberts are likely candidates should the MVC further expand.

The Horizon League will likely look to the Summit League for a replacement, with Oakland considered the top candidate.

Again? When has the WAC not been in trouble? It is a desperate collection of schools.

The WAC might be in trouble once again because the Horizon League could take several teams from there and the remaining teams could go into other conferences. That could eliminate them from receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

CBS Sports is reporting that Davidson will join the A-10. Making 14 members in the A-10. Wichita State and Indiana State might be the next 2 for 16 team in the A-10.
