There are 401 Members but not all is posting maybe we need to kick a few off if they don't post.

I found the board in August, but didn't post until recently. It is very informative with links to articles and good debate. I am from ACC country I appreciate not getting bashed. I have strong ties to non-BCS programs and I recently "retired" from working in D-1 college athletics. Now that I feel I am free to join the debate, I look forward to reading your opinions and insights.

I'm a relatively new member, this board is quickly becoming my favorite place to post. I enjoy talking about conference realignment, but it would be nice to have a place to talk about whats happening on the field in each conference also. If there was a place to talk about the games and players I would definetly post here more often.

This board is interesting and delivers some pensive posts. Some (example: Gunner Dear ;D---hey GT kicked Auburn's hinny and run-up-the-score-on-MissState-when-their-down Turbeville; go Yellowjackets!) can be cognitvely sound but wear me out reading. That's cool, and I complement those that devoted, and get real deep in the issues.
Separating partisanship, agendas, speculation, and ideas from early tips and scoops has its challenging moments.

Suggestions to increase board posting,
1.Guest access to ACC/BE board.

2.Since there are 256 current members,mandate that they post at least once per month or lose membership.

I want more members. I think we should go raid ESPN's and cfbnews's boards. 8-) We need more people from Ohio, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, the west, the Northeast, the Midwest, and the South.

Javaman, agreed. Prior to the early summer ACC expansion, only two or three post were added daily. It was very interesting because a lot of the post predicted the outcome of the ACC.

Once ACC expansion became a reality, you could hardly keep up with all the post. Many of the post were way off base and the same messages were repeated by different members on a lot of seperate threads.

We can all thank KingCal for creating a merged thread for all ACC/BE posts and opinions.

Keeping a small group of posters with good insight can be a good thing.

In about three or four weeks the board will light up again when the BE makes a move. Then will all can concentrate on next moves by Conf USA.

Just wished the MWC were not so slow in expansion plans and everyone is complaining about the BE taking a few extra weeks.

This board is more thoughtful, intelligent, and polite than most sports boards. Better be careful what you wish for. I purposely avoid my own school board because people are often rude, cannot see anything from other than a biased-in-favor-of-the-home-team point of view, and don't give a hoot about interesting other teams or conferences elsewhere...

Anyone come accross any other substantive sports boards that are not just homer boards or forums for trading name-calling and flame sessions?

Patience, young grasshopper. Things are slow now while the season fills out and off-field activity is in a lull. Once more dominos start to fall (realignment, BCS, 1-A criteria) the message board will light up.
