The Humanitarian Bowl is now the MPC Computers Bowl (MPC kind of was Micron PC, for those who may remember the former 2nd Miami bowl game).

Seemingly innocuous, this could be the selling point Boise State has with the Mountain West.
The WAC has been propping up the H-Bowl and the Silicon Valley Classic financially. I'm not sure if the same is true of the Hawaii Bowl, but I suspect that's the case. It's definitely a benefit to the WAC to be free of one subsidy... but it also means that the Mountain West wouldn't have to buck up to cover it should they add Boise, who would still bring the bowl with them.
