just out of curiousity, who is rooting for tcu to crack the bcs. i know i am and if they finish undefeated i would love to see them get their shot at a major school in a major setting.

I would love to see a TCU team in the BCS. If they win whomever they play, it would open up the BCS considerably--they would surely have to go to five bowls in the future. Even if it is a close game they would win respect. The only thing that could damage things would be a blowout. Likely oponents? The loser of the Michigan/OhioState game, The loser of the Big12 championship game, the loser of the SEC championship game....

Does anyone know which bowl has the last choice of at large teams this year? I'm sure that is where they are going.

Methinks the bowl that will have to make this choice is the Orange. If Oklahoma and USC are in the Sugar Bowl it will mean the Fiesta and the Rose will get the next pick after losing their conference tie-ins with the Big 12 and Pac 10, respectively. With Orange picking last, it will essentially have the ACC or BE champ playing against TCU or...

Will be tough, though, choosing TCU over a potentially BCS worthy Texas, Tennessee or Ohio State! Hopefully, if TCU goes they'll go in like a lion and stand tall at the end. That would be a lot of pressure on them.

Won't they just be assingned somewhere? If they get in it'll be because they're in the top 6, which gives them an automatic bid. If they're out of the top 6, they won't get picked.

They certainly have a nice team, but I would take Miami any day. What a machine. I hope Rothlesberger comes back next year. By the way, why did tv keep showing the Marshall coach and sideline, and rarely Miami?
