My $0.02 worth on booting teams. The SEC is still a "good old boys" netwark. There is NO exit fee. Noone will be booted. If there is any change, my best guess would be Vandy. They recently abolished their Athletic Dept and placed it under the intermural programs. A local sports talk show host suggested that the change made it easier to hide any losses that the A.D. might have been having. Since Vandy has a lot of rich alumni, this might be all they need to stay an SEC school. However, this could also be a prelude to dropping out of Division 1. The same talk show host said in an earlier comment that the only schools that used the Vandy model that he could find were Ivy league schools. ::)

Time will tell.
