Strangest thing I've heard yet:

http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/3461332

This article from the Houston Chronicle quotes the University of Houston AD as saying he has a plan and a "prominent school" ready to join U of H to make the Big XII into the Big 14.

UH may want to be in the Big 12. People in hell want ice water. No reason for the Big 12 to increase its number of teams. Replacing Baylor might be an option, but we hear that Arkansas could jump in.

Baylor should go! However, UofH is not the answer - Southern Miss is the answer - The Big 12 would get a new state & Southern Miss in a BCS Conf. would be the #1 school in the state of Miss! They are already equal with Ole Miss & above MSU now!

The mystery school is probably Louisville...they're already "too good" for the BIG EAST...

WU-STL, Drake, Grinnell, Phillips, Southwestern, Louisiana Tech, Missouri State, the possibilities are endless...

Well I live in Big 12 country and haven't heard anything about Houston. Another thing Baylor isn't going to get the boot. They are very competive in all sports. Football has improved and bb has too.

Why not TCU (South) and Colorado State (North)?
