Article out of Bearcat Country reporting that Big East Member Cincinnati will have to cut scholarship funding for men's swimming, track, and cross country due to budget concerns.They will still field squads in these sports but probably at a "glorified" club level.Looks like UC is the first BCS conference school to actually have to "gut out"some of it's sports teams due to this recession.Apparently Stanford was able to avoid cutting teams or many scholarships,so far.Link at http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2009 ... /904080384
