and all that withstanding, ecu STILL would give its right arm to get in The ACC.

you're a South Carolina Pirate, and I am the one on the tractor? ???

Sonny, If you are going to try and tell me life is better in Wake County than having a water front home in Beaufort, SC - well - then you really have been in the sun too long - Bless your little heart !

funny you mention beaufort specifically. my dad was stationed there some time ago. and we weren't talking about waterfront homes. we were talking about tractors. who do you think has more tractors per capita Raleigh or Beaufort?

on an unrelated note, how is beaufort, that was one of my favorite places to live (that and arizona). went to a little school called Port Royal and Laurel Bay No. 1. we lived on the military base. those were the days.

and i say again...

right arm.

We'll take ECU - just tell us who you want in exchange.

ECU will never be in the ACC but ECU may soon be a member of the BE!

Depends on which three the ACC expands with. If Va Tech, Syracuse, and Miami are the three schools then the Big East football would be dead, Pitt and WVA would be absorbed by CUSA.

If Louisville, Va Tech, and Miami are the three to the ACC, the Big East would need ECU, Marshall, Central FL, Cincinnati and Memphis to suvie.

Miami will leave for the ACC unless they match the special deal which Miami has with the BE.This will not happen.Syracuse and BC are not leaving the northeast for the ACC.Shortly Louisville and its big time program will enter the BE for all sports.Future ,moves will be made to strengthen the BE.Hopefully ND will enter for football.
