The champion of one conference playing the champion of another conference used to be called a bowl game!

^People have talked about the WAC and the Sun Belt doing something like this, so they could continue as conferences, esp for their other sports, while not losing these teams to one or the other because of a lack of a football. It would be a truce for conference survival thing.

oops, i thought deleting the first post would delete the whole thread. the first thread was about having the MWC and the bigE having a championship game between the two conferences. ive outgrown this idea.
