Just thought I'd also mention that BP was interviewed for the SU job as well.

I have heard several poster from the Pitt and SUs sites during the interview process that Pelini gave bad interviews. Obviously, I dont know what that was specifically. I am not sure but I don't think he was asked back for a second interview for either school.

He has a really odd demeanor. His results were impressive at Nebraska, but he was only there 1 year. He seemed to be a very emotional guy. That was odd for Nebraska after decades of stoic Tom Osborne and Frank Solich. He was the temporary head coach during the 2003 Alamo Bowl. I seemed to remember him blowing up over a call. He was popular in that short stint at Nebraska, but maybe he was awkward and emotional during the interview and it seemed odd giving him the reigns of a head coaching job. This is all based on his very short stint at Nebraska, so I could be wrong.

Big 12 31 - 5 (done)
Big 10 28 - 5
ACC 21- 7
PAC 10 21- 7
SEC 19-7 Power conf. total: 120-31

BE 17-12
MWC 12-12 Mid major total: 29-24

CUSA 11-16
MAC 11-21
WAC 7-19
SB 4-21 Bottom feeder total: 33-77


BCS schools (including BE) are 108-12 (90%) vs non-BCS and 28-1 (97%) vs Div IAA.

In regional matters,

ACC finished 5 - 2 vs BE
SEC leads CUSA 5 - 0 with 2 to play
Big 10 swept MAC 12-0
MWC beat PAC 10 by 2-1
MWC lead WAC 5 -2 with 1 to go
PAC 10 leads WAC 7 - 0 with 1 to go
