Had he subscribed to Game Plan and satellite, Lash would have been pleased to watch two early games today. Maryland came from behind with 65 and 80 yard TD passes in the fourth quarter and beat North Carolina 33-30 in OT. Excellent ACC game.

And... Williams beat Amherst 34-23 in one of the nation's oldest rivalries.

Westwolf, what a coincidence that you would add this thread.

I did in fact watch the Maryland/NC State game in Virginia visiting my family for the holidays. So did not have to use pay for view.

By the way, a very good game.

Since we are on the subject, the Arizona republic printed articles last week with the Phoenix fan base upset that ESPN televised the Va/Va Tech game last week end and did not show the Ohio State/Michigan game.

Many compliants were made to ABC and ESPN. They wanted the game on ESPN picked over the Va Tech/Virginia game.

There is some law that games on the big networks can not be televised during morning hours and much show cartoons. Of course some football games could fall into this category.

So its not just me that is upset with how ESPN/ABC is selecting its games.

Likewise the SC/Clemson game received so much pressure that ESPN switched from normal national telecast to show a regional game in SC.

Again we just need more cable options so every game is available free of charge to the preference of the fan and region.

Lash, we had a similar situation in Maryland Saturday night when the ABC affiliate showed Georgia-Ga Tech instead of Notre Dame-Stanford. That's why I get the Game Plan package. Too bad that GP is all over for the year now.
