I know its unimaginable to think a well oil machine like the SEC would split. However something better could be built and maybe the that alone could send a few schools off for secret talks.
Maybe they form something like this...

Texs
Oklahoma
LSU
Texas A&M
Arkansas
Tenn.
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
Alabama

And 2 additional schools
maybe
Texas Tech
Mississippi
Florida st
Miami
OSU
Auburn
Mississppi st

It's doubtful that you'd see the conferences break along geographic lines. There's no way Alabama wouldn't want to pair up with Auburn, Georgia, Florida and UNC if they could. Look for the strong schools to pair with the strong schools, not the closest schools.
