Kentucky Wesleyan
Central St.
Notre Dame
Urbana
Cedarville
Ursuline (womens)

That's 4 fb schools. If they can get Walsh and Malone they could sponsor football.

I've been reading SR too but I keep forgetting to post the things on here...the Ohio conference is coming along nicely.

So the conference now has a name. They stole the Great Midwest from the 90s D-I conf. and added Athletic. Which makes for another stolen name GMAC

It won't be long before the GLIAC splits...the Michigan schools in one conference, the Ohio schools in another (joined by Indianapolis and Lewis).

As for a football home for UNC Pembroke, the Gulf South Conference is available.

OVC says no to UNA and NKU. NKU could fit into the Summit replacing ORU. UNA Prez said the GSC will be their home so I guess they don't want to join the A-Sun and look for fb only. Or join the SLC for all sports.

PS, I don't count this low level non BCS stuff as part of what I'm sick of.(If you read my rant on the BE thread)

So in D-11, I sort of expect the following to transpire at some point....

GAC (Oklahoma-Arkansas conf.) is sitting at 6 AR schools and 4 OK schools. Stated goal of reaching 12.
Invited NW OK St. as #11. Rejected by D-II (lost out in numbers game, will re-apply this year, and probably be accepted).
Expect school #12 to be invited in time to also apply for D-II this year....
Oklahoma City U. and Rogers St. (OK) have been mentioned.

MIAA losing UN-Omaha to D-1 Summit. Need a replacement #16.
Heard nothing of discussions, but Wayne St. (NE) of NSIC seems like a possibility.

If NSIC were to lose Wayne St., they'd need a #16, and might look to S.D. Mines.
They are a bit remote in western SD, but they may be the top candidate.

RMAC sits at 14, and looks stable. They have stated a desire for 16.
SD Mines would love an invitation. ENMU turned them down last year.
Colorado College also turned them down, before the D-3 SCAC had 7 deffections.
CC is the only D-3 school in mountain time zone, stuck in a Texas conference.
It seems to be a ridiculous situation, and I really think they should re-consider.
Money spent on D-2 sports scholarships might be gained from reduced travel.

Truman St. will likely replace Kentucky Wesleyan in the GLVC as #16. MIAA will be down to 14.
