That NC/SC/GA area is going to be interesting to see what happens in the future with the CAA moving in, AppSt/GASo possibly moving up, and Davidson possibly joining a big boy bball conference. Assuming no conferences die off, there should be plenty of room for D2's in the coming years.

I'd throw in UAH, North Alabama, and possibly Montevallo and Tuskegee as well. Huntsville will probably be the largest city in Alabama in the next census, and Alabama fits the A-Sun and OVC footprints, and could work for the Big South or Southland. If any conference dies it will be the Peach Belt.

Tuskegee is already competitive with Alabama State (FCS) in football, and would have a home in the SWAC or MEAC.

Not the Peach Belt they have 14 members, you mean the Gulf South, they have UNA, UAH, UWF, UWG who could all move up.
