Please show the maps of the Big East and Sun Belt during basketball season.
Nrthrn95, I decided when I started doing these maps, that I was only going to do the D 1-A football conferences. The D 1 basketball conferences have about three times as many schools as the D 1-A football conferences and I don't have the time for it right now.

Is there anyone interested in taking over this map function? If so, let me know and I will send you my latest versions of the maps in PowerPoint.

Can anyone tell me how to post a map on this board? I am a totally lost newbie, but I have a really great map that I have been using to track current conference memberships, past, and future (or my own versions of it).

I have the map in .jpg format or in powerpoint but cannot figure out how to upload it into my post as you all have done.

Thanks for the help!

ColoSpgsBuff, The way I have done it is a two-step procedure. 1) You need to put the map file out to a Web accessible site. In my case, Mindspring doesn't allow PowerPoint files on their site, so I have been saving the map files in .gif format (.jpg will work too). 2) Once the map file has been uploaded to the Web site, you can use the image tag button (fourth button from the left on the second row) to insert the map file into your message. This button provides the HTML code " [ i m g ] URL [ / i m g ]", without the spaces. Replace "URL" with the path to your Web map file. I recommend using the Preview button (next to the Post button) to test it out.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing your map! :)

This isn't a "scientifically" accurate map, compared to many of the ones you guys have one here. It does include school Logo's, as accurate positioning that I could determine, and I included I-AA Montana and Delaware, as well as the two Florida I-A transitional schools.

Hope the image link works!

Seeing all those together reminds me of those little pro helmets you could get in gumball machines!

On the theory that you can never have too many maps, I'll throw my little map project into the mix:

The (Medary.com) Conference Map Project

Currently I've got 2004-05 D-I basketball conferences up. Others forthcoming as time permits.
