Curious what "need something else to look at" means.
From what I'm hearing, the arena (next to the Superdome) didn't sustain much damage. That doesn't mean the Hornets will play in New Orleans this year, but it's probably viable in 06-07.
Of course, the question is whether the city is viable or not.
There's also the variable of where the Hornets do play this year. They could end up splitting some games off to Baton Rouge, but Oklahoma City and Louisville are heavily lobbying to host the Hornets (and, as you might imagine, probably envision a move down the road). Since I doubt the Maravich AC can host 41 games, either site seems logical (especially Oklahoma City).
The real issue with New Orleans is how many people actually move back, and how soon.
