So Netfirms, the hosting company of this site, is moving all their accounts to a new server. I've waited until the end to manually move it, and now they are automatically moving it. So....that means that likely this weekend, the site will be down for a period of time. They say it will take 5-24 hours, so I'll try to time it for the weekend.

Note that there might be a chance that any new posts added to this site AFTER the migration process starts, will be lost.

So if you have something interesting to say, you should also post it in an email and send it to yourself. That way, if for some reason your post is erased today or Sat., you can repost it.


Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience. Here's hoping that the forum, blog and rest of the site is transferred without any problems. Fingers crossed.

Looks like the migration was successful thus far. Haven't found too many hiccups yet which is a good sign. Just 1 missing site post and some forum posts from this weekend. So if you posted something and it's missing, that's what happened.

I will also be trying to upgrade the forum software later this week to fix the posting glitch that happens time to time. It's a manual effort of manually uploading all the files individually, so I'm going to have to try doing it overnight since the site will be down for a bit.
