Greetings!
As the last email I sent stated, CollegeSportsInfo.com has a new, faster forum server. The Version 4 upgrade offers many new functions and a much better speed.
There have been some users who have had problems logging into the new account though. Thus far, I've only heard from AOL users and have determined the problem.
It seems that AOL is blocking the emails sent to AOL users for your activation code.
AOL seems to be blocking the emails sent automatically from the system. It most liekly views them as spam since they come from an automated system.
So the problem is on the end of the AOL email service provider. For security reasons, even as the admin, I have no access to your password. So in order to resolve the matter, you'll need to contact AOL support.
The quick fix is to browse your spam or bulk folders within your AOL account.
Make sure that ALL emails are allowed that come from the domain "collegesportsinfo.com" or "proboards.com".
The actual email that comes from the system is from the email address nobody@proboards.com. Be sure to set the email preferences to allow email from this address. If you continue to have problems, be sure to contact AOL live chat help at
http://www.aol.com/support/livehelp.adp .
I will try to help you the best that I can but recommend trying one of the other solutions through AOL.
REMEDY:
If you cannot remedy the problem, EMAIL ME with a NEW NON-AOL email acount and I will change your email in the system.
Good luck and let me know of your progress.
Regards,
Matt Peloquin
