It's good to see the elimination of the SOS. ;D
Since this is the primary factor in the determination of most of the computer rankings, it's use was a double count/redundancy. Too late for the errors of the past three years, but the BCS may be finally heading in the right direction.
Although the quality win component wasn't that bad of an idea, because it double counted only the best wins as determined by the "formula."
Moving in the right direction anyway...

Just have to make a statement on Friedgen comments of the ACC becoming a true Atlantic Coast conference.

Did the ACC expand with Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hamphshire.

I just dont think the ACC really gets it that taking BC did not claim the entire seaboard from Maine to Florida.

Someone want to provide him a geography lesson.

National notebook: Forget notion of playoff

Quote:
"You're not going to see a playoff in the next decade," Delany said. "In the BCS, every game really does matter. College football probably has the most vibrant regular season in sports. The conference races shape national landscape, culminating in a holiday football smorgasbord."
