http://collegesportsinfo/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1315 for info on a Miami Bowl proposal.
If the MAC loses its tie-in with the GMAC Bowl, they could start a bowl game in the Metrodome with the Big Ten. It would be called the Land O'Lakes Bowl, as Land O'Lakes, HQ'ed in nearby Arden Hills, would purchase exclusive naming rights to the bowl.
To replace the namesake bowl game, the Cotton Bowl Stadium could get a December bowl game, with exclusive naming rights bought by Dr. Pepper. The aptly-titled Dr. Pepper Bowl would feature a Big 12 team and either SMU, TCU, North Texas, or any other CUSA or Sun Belt team.
A bowl game in Seattle (with a Pac-10 tie-in) can only survive if naming rights are bought by a Seattle-based company. So I propose Nintendo buy the naming rights and name it the Pokemon.com Bowl. It would air on Cartoon Network (with TBS sports graphics, except that the CN logo replaces the TBS logo).
