What's up with this Associate Membership for Army and Navy?? I don't like that idea at all, they are seperate Institutions...I think that either the MAC or Big East should pick the Army and Navy Schools...Who are army's rivals?? Air Force and Navy...and who are Navy's Rivals?? Air Force, Army, and Notre Dame...so scheduling is not that difficult with those two schools...plus being in the Big East, Army and Navy will have more Northeastern Schools to play...they could form more rivalries in the future playing the Big East Schools...just adding Army and Navy would have the Big East at 10 Schools playing football...a great number for a football conference...i think that even just having 8 teams in a conference is too small...there's no telling how the success of these smaller schools (Temple, Army, Navy) will have in the future...so i think the Big East would be wise to add schools with great tv markets...and overall national appeal...regardless of the school records now...

I mean they kept Rutgers and booted Temple!!! so they really aren't concerned with a bad Rutgers team..
