FresnoStAlum,thanks for the post.

Looks like today is the deadline for applying for membership to NCAA D-2 and D-3 for this year.

If anyone finds a list(s) of the schools that have applied by today's deadline, please post it/them in this thread. If I run across such info I will also post it here.

Thanks
Freaked

CS San Marcos needs to add basketball

I moved this to the Other Conferences forum, so we have an NAIA thread with the conference threads. It's also an announcement, so it will always be up top.

So if there is a take over, does Lambuth still move to D-II. They are starting year 2 of their exploratory membership.

FresnoStAlum,thanks for the post.

The answer to your question is that no decisions have been made.Lambuth is in serious financial trouble.
Any state move would apparently require legislative approval which is in it's early stages of involvement.

Blog article that discusses CIS vote this week to restrict dual NCAA and CIS memberships.Article also addresses CIS and NAIA membership situations. This apparently will not affect SFU decision to move to NCAA D-2,if they are accepted.Link at http://ubcinsiders.blogspot.com/2009/06 ... -ncaa.html
