Congratulations South Carolina and to you too DogsNThingys.

They're a little down here in Wolverineland. But it was a good season for U of M nonetheless.

South Carolina repeats as NIT Champions.

Half of the final four are SEC.

One SEC team in the women's final four.

The SEC is a basketball conference also. The established media got it all wrong.

The BE had a good run however it is the year of the SEC for tournaments. Congratulations South Carolina on the NIT. Will George Mason be the Nova of old over G'town? Stranger things have happened. Will UCLA reassert itself? Can the Gators finally get it done. Coach Saban LSU is not happy about you wearing a Texas sweater. Can't wait for Monday night.

Thanks, Metropolitan. We know the NIT win is more of a title than a championship. For South Carolina, who doesn't often receive titles or championships in their sports, it's something to gain back-to-back NIT wins.

I know some schools that have said its a national championship.

Back to the main thread topic, if LSU and Florida win the national title they could join an elite group since both of them have national championships in football.

Add Florida to the list of champions in football and basketball.
