With many schools looking down the nose at other schools, this would never work....

The only ways confereces expand these days is to *significantly* improve the # of TV sets they can get. Putting BSU into the PAC10 won't cut it. Please take a look at ABC Pac 10 game of the week and look and see where it is shown.

There are also issues with BSUs academics when compared to the other big guys like Stanford, UCLA, Cal, etc.

There are problems with other conferences too. I think you can have a Big East 1 and a BE lite (also with the other conferences - have a MAJOR and a MINOR). No way the ACC would FIU, FAU, ECU, UCF, GS.

Unless something goes to hades in a handbasket and the BCS conferences can't afford to travel (like Gas hitting $20+ a gallon), I doubt you see any changes, because 1) these schools will be able to afford in-conference travel because of the BCS money, and 2) outside of the BE, these conferences are pretty stable as is (even an 11-member Big 10). You could see some changes within the non-BCS schools once some more I-AA schools move up, but that all depends on who actually moves up.
