BTW - If Waldorf wanted to limit travel, why wouldn't they attempt to join the MCC (NAIA BB div. II - same as they are now) ?
It's 6 Iowa schools and one in Wisconsin ! And 3 of their schools curently play FB in the MSFA (midwest division)... that seems ideal !

Either last year or the year before, the MCC kicked Waldorf (and Ashford) out when they became for-profit schools.

As reported on The Senior Reports (http://www.theseniorreports.com/ncaad2.htm),
Quote:
Concordia University Accepted For GNAC Membership

Concordia University, located in Portland, OR, will move from the NAIA's Cascade Collegiate Conference to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in the fall of 2015, pending D2 membership approval.

Assume that means they will apply to NCAA D-II A.S.A.P. (Summer of 2014).

Southern Poly is going to become part of Kennesaw St. so erase them from the NAIA in 2015. Senior Reports has it.

NAIA St. Louis Pharmacy is moving from the KIAC to the AMC in 2014. I think read that one on the NAIA board.

Here's a link:

Thanks for the heads up, FSA.

The poorly-crafted press release on STLCoP moving to the AMC, omitted William Woods from the list, along with new AMC members Mid-Continent (KY) and Freed-Hardeman (TN).

IT DID, however, note that Lindenwood-Belleville (NAIA Independent) had accepted an invitation to join the AMC at the same time as STLCoP.

This will bring the AMC up to a whopping 14 members, by my count - 8 in MO, 2 in IL, 2 in AR, 1 in KY, 1 in TN.

More from Senior reports:

D-3:
NYU to absorb Polytechnical Institute of New York (NYU-Poly). They are neighboring schools.
NYU curently in teh D-3 UAA, NYU-Poly in the D-3 Skyline.
Surviving School will be NYU in UAA.... so the D-3 Skyline loses a member.

Also Bryn Athyn and Penn College of Tech. invited to join D-3 NEAC for 2014 -2015.
(I already had this move as previously announced - maybe it was conditional and the conditions had been met ?)

Oh yeah sorry I forgot to post the NYU-Poly. I thought we all knew about Lindewood-Belleview and Bryn A., and Penn Coll. No? just me? I'm a lazy ass, I guess, for not posting.
