Oglala Lake and Trinity Bible getting rejected has to tear at the hearts of the Dakota Athletic Conference which could desperately use teams at this point. They currently have 4 teams.

3 actually.

Dakota State went independent.
Dickenson recently accepted an invitation to the Frontier.

Jamestown has a pending application wiht the Frontier, and has applied to the GPAC.
Mayville State and Valley City State have also both applied to the GPAC.

It seems likely that the Dakota Athletic Conference may dis-band.

The head of the NAIA message board told me that Trinity Bible withdrew it's app. Ogala was in bad financial situation and he thinks Victory was financial and number of sports.

Ok, since I'm going through on Wikipedia and taking care of some of the smaller college conference realignments, I'm going to start what (theoretically) will be keeping track of conference switches for the 2009-2010 academic year and going onward. The list will take some time (I'm still on Alabama and already have a couple that weren't on here or there), but I'll go through and edit the list to keep it up to date. If you have any changes I don't have on here (I'll initially post what state I'm working through, so give me a few days to get further down the list), please post them here (preferably with a link), and I'll put it on the list.

D-III Piedmont is moving from the GSAC to USA South in 2012. That will give USASC 7 men's basketball and drop the GSAC to 4 men's basketball.

Berry may not be in the GSAC yet but, they and Montreat(Applying to D-III) should look for an invite or the GSAC may have to merge w/ USASC.
