The NHL's plan is to have no All-Star Game during seasons when there are Winter Olympics games (2006, 2010...)
The All-Star Break will be replaced by a Winter Olympics Break.

I can't remember who was to host the All-Star Game during the cancelled 2004-05 season. You would think they would be offered the opportunity to host in Spring 2007.

Gleaning from the NHL website, Atlanta was supposed to host the 2005 game.

Glendale (Phoenix) was scheduled for the 2006 game before the league decided to replace it with the Olympic break... a VERY good idea, BTW. Actually, if I were in charge, I would replace it with an annual (except Olympic years) four team tournament with Canada, USA, hopefully Russia, and a rotating 4th (Sweden being very tempting).

Dallas IS scheduled for the 2007 game.

Looks like 2008 is the next unscheduled game... and Atlanta is apparently the favorite then.

I'm not sure. I think it depends on the NHL Commissioner and its Staff, really.
