It's a bit curious that the MEAC didn't vote on Savannah State at the same time.

The MEAC is at 13 with NCCU now.
And WSSU is in financial difficulties (will htey stay or drop back down ?)

I wonder if the vote on Savannah State is held up until we know WSSU's fate....
(SUCH AS - if WSSU stays, they add Savannah State for 14 (12 in football);
if WSSU drops out, they reject Savannah State and have 12 (10 in football)).

Just speculation....

Apparently SSU still has a MEAC application that has not had a final vote yet.
Also,a WSSU athletic department decision is expected soon.I expect something to happen in the near term.
