Quinn,thanks for the post.
I probably should have reposted this June 2011 SBJ article(previously posted in this thread) in my last post.
BTW,these numbers are for tv revenue only,NOT FOR TOTAL CONFERENCE PAYOUTS. Link(scroll down for college tv revenue numbers) at http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Jour ... -Fees.aspx

I believe that this gives a pretty good idea of where the 6 BCS conferences are in relation to one another on an annual tv contract average basis pending realignment fallout.I am not sure where SBJ got their Big 10 numbers($252 million average per year) partly because they lump the BTN and ESPN money together for some reason. The $20 million per year in CBS money represents a big bump over the 2007 contract number.
As previously indicated,I agree with you that many of these numbers will change after this round of conference realignment has been concluded.

SBJ average per year conference tv revenue numbers:
Big Ten-$252 million
PAC-12-$250 million
SEC-$205 million
ACC-$155 million
Big 12-$150 million
Big East-$36 million

Thanks
Freaked

Quinn, here is repost of article out of West Virginia with the breakdown on the BE tv money split.
According to this article, the BE gets $36 million in tv revenue total per year from ESPN and about $4 million a year for BB from CBS,of which $13 million is split equally between the 8 FB schools and the remaining $27 million or so is split between the 16 BB schools. If it were all split evenly each BE FB school would get about $3.4 million per year.Based on this info it sounds like your $7 million number might be for total league payout and not for just tv money.Link at http://www.dailymail.com/Sports/201105221121
