I am once again updating the NCAA D1/D2 basketball maps as well as the FCS/D2/D3/NAIA football maps. (Not the BCS/FBS football ones, someone else keeps those updated season by season)

If anyone wants to tell me which schools to add, subtract, or change conferences from these maps it would be appreciated.

Here are some links to the current maps.

Basketball http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_ba ... Division_I
Football http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_football#Team_maps

Thanks in advance...

From Quinn:

Just a reminder, everyone, you will find all the Division 1 schools on the CSI interactive map at:
http://collegesportsinfo.com/NCAA-Map

It's essentially a Google map, broken down by conference. It is updated each time there is a change and another resource in addition to the wikipedia maps TK gratefully works on.

In NCAA Div. 3, the Apprentice School should be there. I believe the Builders are grandfathered in as a NCAA Div. 3 football school.

According to Apprentice School athletic site, they are NOT an NCAA school, they are currently a USCAA member.Perhaps the Wiki map project can be expanded to include USCAA members?Link at http://www.gobuilders.com/landing.index#

From gobuilders.com, the Apprentice School's athletic website:
Quote:
One of the most significant events in the history of Apprentice School athletics occurred in 1986. In June of that year the School received official notification from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) that its Administrative Committee had ruled that NCAA member institutions may count contests with The Apprentice School for purposes of championships selection and NCAA statistics.

http://www.gobuilders.com/Traditions/earlyyears

I've emailed the school's SID to confirm this, but i take this statement to mean that the Apprentice School's football program is considered to be a NCAA Div. 3 program. In fact, they've spent years in the Atlantic Central Football Conference, a Div. 3 conference. Also, some Builders' football players have won awards in ECAC Div. 3 football.

Just finished all the changes to basketball maps but can't upload yet due to the Wiki blackout but will do first thing tomorrow or later tonight.

Thanks guys

Does USCAA have football? There are no bball maps for NAIA D3 of USCAA, I may make some at a later date but right now my pet project is creating a football map for NJCAA. But if the team participates in D3 then I'll add them, just show us a link...

they were D-III for football only like Trinity Bible now neither are. They just float and play mainly NAIA and D-III schools. Virginia-Lynchburg, Concordia(AL) also float.

No USCAA does not. Concordia and Apprentice are the only USCAA w/ football. Trinity Bible is the only NCCAA w/ football since Kentucky Christian moved to NAIA. UVa-Lynchburg just started football and wants to join the D-II, CIAA but are a long way off

Your NJCAA map has "NAIA Football" at the top. Oops.

Is it not letting you do the football map for BCS and FBS? It's all the same as it was in 2011. Also in the NAIA get rid of Azusa Pacific football.
