Isn't that figure 261 million and 19.5 million per school? Figure also doesn't reflect individual schools 3rd tier rights and deals, for example UF gets an additional 10 million per year from the Sun Network in a deal negotiated 5 years ago. That's 29.5 million for UF. Wonder what UF could get now. Probably close to Longhorn Network numbers.

Edit:Please REREAD this article which is reporting SEC league revenue only.It clearly reports SEC MEDIA revenue for 2010-2011 at $158.3 million up from $153.3 million in 2009-2010.

Thanks
Freaked

I think Missouri's population is around 5 million people.

Yet Mr. SEC is excited about Missouri having 6 million cable HOUSEHOLDS....

Did we slip a decimal point, or something ????

How many cable subscribers is unknown to me but Missouri's population is just over 6 million while West Virginia's population is 1.85 million. I'm guessing the number of cable subscribers in Missouri is greater than the number of every man, woman, child and possible cows in West Virginia.

I'd hate to know the number of teeth in Missouri compared to the number of teeth in West Virginia. ;)
