OUCH !!! That was pretty brutal !!!

I think the Spartans had some decent years in the past.... Jeff Garcia... OK, that's been a while....

Do any of you know, if we can just "freshen up" our Y2K stash for this "Mayan thing" ?

Its their 1st 10 win season since 87. I don't think they were ranked back then b/c no one respected the PCAA/Big West back when we were in it. They are good, so is Utah St., makes the MWC look smart while the CUSA took sucky schools, startups, and La Tech(good)

Denver will join the Summit League next season, sources told CBSSports. Realignment never, ever ends.

that has to do it for the WAC, no?

Hey I wasn't done bragging!

As many of us expected. I really don't want to see the WAC playing next year. We had one final season with three pretty solid teams and that's how they should be remembered. Not for this dragged out slow death and trying to be a non football conference. Denver to the Summit makes sense for both parties.

what are the chances the WAC invites UTPA, Chicago St, and NJIT to "get to 7" and hope to find another member or two?

GCU doesn't have football and was a former baseball member of the WAC

Dixie St. would basically have to drop football to move to D-I. I don't think they want to be FCS Indy and unless Idaho stays FBS(I don't see it, barring BE taking Fresno, AFA, UNLV) and they become the 14th BSky fb member.

wasn't UC San Diego looking for at the Big west earlier? They have no football why isn't the wac looking at them. At that matter any thoughts on why there hasn't been any movement on the rest of the great west schools? While it might not look pretty it would get the right amount of division 1 schools or at least a little breathing room.
