To Do List...
Minor updates (WILL DO SOMETIME THIS WEEKEND)
D3 fb ILLINOIS
- The locations in Chicago are a mess. Lake Forest is the furthest north. North Park would be just below. Slightly south of that, as well as west of the city, there is a line of three schools in almost neighboring towns. Wheaton west, Elmhurst in the middle, and then Concordia. Below them is another line of three that starts further west and goes through three adjacent towns. Aurora west, North Central in the middle, and then Benedictine. Chicago would be to the east and slighly south of those three.

- Since this is almost impossible to do at the current size I will suggest a simpler fix that isn't 100% right but will have to do for now. North Park should be where Lake Forest is now. Lake Forest should be where Chicago is now, with the dot moved further north. Wheaton should be where Elmhurst is now, with the dot moved as far west as can fit. Elmhurst should be where Wheaton is now, with the dot also moved west. Concordia should be where North Park is now, with the dot moved north and west.

- Aurora should be where North Central is now, with the dot moved west, so it's not directly under Wheaton's dot, but further west. North Central's name should be where Aurora's name is now, I guess, and the dot can be above the name. Benedictine's dot should be east of that and the name can fit wherever possible. Chicago's name should be where Concordia's name is now, or wherever there is space after the changes, and the dot should be right on the lakeshore. Hopefully all of that makes sense. In real life it would look sort of like this ...

_____________________Lake_Forest
______________________North_Park
__Wheaton___Elmhurst___Concordia
Aurora__North_Central__Benedictine
________________________Chicago

NEW YORK
- The locations of Merchant Marine and SUNY Maritime (no hyphen) are reversed. SUNY Maritime is on the southeast side of the Bronx. The dot can actually be moved into New York and off the Connecticut border. Merchant Marine is located on the northern coast of Long Island, so the dot should be due south and maybe slightly east of the dot for SUNY Maritime.

MASSACHUSETTS
- Change the name of Worcester Poly to WPI to clear some of the clutter. Move the dot for Mount Ida west, and it can even touch the dot for Framingham. Move the dot for MIT west, and it can even touch the new dot for Mount Ida. Move the dot for Tufts south and west, probably ending up roughly where the dot for MIT is right now.

MAJOR UPDATES (NO TIME TABLE)
NAIA bb map(s) - create
D3 bb map(s) - create
D3 fb map - format same as others and switch colors to make some of the neighboring conferences in the East less confusing. (East Coast-darkblue, Centennial-fuschia, ODAC-yellowishbrown, USASouth-darkgreen, SAC-reddishorange, American Southwest-tealish color the SAC currently is)

Here are the minor changes I said I would have for Tkalmus. Let him know again that I, for one, really appreciate all the time he sets aside for this stuff. And if I had any type of graphic design ability, as you suggested before, I would definitely lend a hand.

D1 BASKETBALL MAP
BALTIMORE
- Nudge the dot for Morgan State a bit west, Morgan State and Coppin State roughly equidistant from Loyola
HORIZON
- Wisconsin-Milwaukee misspelled

D2 FOOTBALL MAP
PSAC
- Mansfield dropped football
- Only need to "overline" the first word in East Stroudsburg and West Chester
- Only need to underline the second word in Seton Hill (consistent with CIAA and rest of PSAC)

D2 BASKETBALL MAP
GLVC
- Make school names and dots the same green color used on the football map

D1 BASKETBALL MAP

COLORS
- Switch the colors of the ACC and MAAC. The ACC color is similar to the Big Ten color, which makes it harder to spot Notre Dame and Pitt if you glance very quickly, plus it's only a shade or two darker than the SoCon.

BALTIMORE
- Coppin State and Morgan State should be closer to Loyola, not further away, which is what was done last time. Those two should be a sort of triangle under Loyola. Coppin is not next to UMBC like it looks right now. Loyola's dot needs to be changed to the Patriot League's beige as well.

NEW YORK
- Still looking at ways to lessen the clutter. How about placing Fairleigh Dickinson's name on one line (I know it's long), moving Manhattan's name to where "Fairleigh" is now, placing Fordham's name where "Manhattan" is now, and moving Columbia's name up to about where "Fordham" is now.

D2 BASKETBALL & FOOTBALL & NAIA FOOTBALL MAPS

PROPER LEVEL
- Georgetown of Kentucky is listed on both. It has to be one or the other and it doesn't hurt to list them as D2 early if it looks like they will get in.

D3 FOOTBALL MAP

COLORS
- Switch the orange of the Liberty League with the pink of the ECFC to make the two leagues stand apart from their neighbors a little bit better.

CHICAGO
- The dot for North Park should be located south of Lake Forest, as it is in the city, and North Park's name should be in the water where an extra "Wheaton" is right now. The area that currently has North Park's name should actually say Elmhurst. The dots for North Central and Benedictine should both be further West (Aurora, Naperville, and Lisle are neighboring towns, all of them inland, so the three dots should touch each other). There is also an extra "Elmhurst" name floating downstate which needs to be erased. Once again, the rough layout is ...

____________________LakeForest
_____________________NorthPark
____Wheaton_Elmhurst_Concordia
Aurora_NorthCentral_Benedictine
______________________Chicago

NEW YORK
- The locations for SUNY Maritime and Merchant Marine need to be reversed. SUNY Maritime is in the Bronx and Merchant Marine is on Long Island.

PENNSYLVANIA
- If there isn't enough room to spell out Washington & Jefferson, use "Wash. & Jeff." instead of "Wash-Jeff" as it now says, reminding me of a "to do list" for someone's wife (or mom).

NORTH CAROLINA
- Greensboro doesn't have an extra "e" in the middle. No need for a "U" after Methodist.

TEXAS
- No clutter, so there wouldn't be any harm in spelling out East Texas Baptist.

NOT DONE, TELL HIM MAAC COLOR IS TOO CLOSE TO SEC SO UGA/GATECH USC/CLEM and FL/FSU WOULDN'T WORK, NOT TO MENTION ITS HARD TO SWITCH COLORS SO UNLESS ITS A SLAM DUNK SUGGESTION I'M JUST GOING TO LEAVE IT BE

Any confirmation of that latter move (Grand Canyon) ?

They must have rocks in their head to join the WAC right now.
It's a sinking ship (down to 4 now...). The commissioner doesn't have a CLUE as to how to go about saving the conference.
