I recently heard a horrrrrible sports chant and it got me thinking...it would be nice to put together a list of the all time worst college sports chants ever heard.

So let me know what you got!

Here's one I heard from a Pitt fan friend of mine:

"Jermaine Dixon, you play like you have AIDS!"
(Pitt player Jermaine Dixon had both parents die of AIDS)



OK, so now you have probably the worse end of the spectrum, so anything you you add will seem tame and you'll be able to sleep at night.

Jees ! That's HARSH !!! Missouri has a fan group known as the Antlers, and they think nothing of bashing an opponent's heritage, ethnicity, or relatives dying of cancer...

Not sure which Big Eight school started: "Rawk Chawk Chicken Hawk, F*** K. U."


Back during the Tony Dorsett days, Pitt had a bumper sticker that read: "PITT is ITT !"
So naturally Penn Staters responded with "PITT is SHITT !"

But back to chants... One of my favorites comes from "Tobacco Road", courtesy of the Tar Heel Fans...
"Duke is Puke,
and Wake is Fake...
But the Team I Hate
is N. C. State !"


The most annoying chant, may be Florida State's "Tomahawk Chop".
Had it stayed at Florida State, I don't think I would have found it so annoying....
But about the time Deion Sanders (from Florida State) would up playing baseball for the Atlanta Braves, the Braves began chopping AD NAUSEUM. Then I believe the Kansas CIty Chiefs started it for a while.
I think the Cleveland Indians and Washington redskins mercifully refrained, but I could be wrong.

The Antlers at Mizzou are definately the rougher edge of the students (they've even been banned a time or two by the AD here).

Mizzou Cheerleaders were prohibited from starting the M-I-Z! Z-O-U! chant during the kU basketball games because it would always end up M-I-Z! F***-k-U!

At the Braggin' Rights game every year, there is always a competition between the two schools with their respective chants (M-I-Z! Z-O-U! and I-L-L! I-N-I!) but in recent years, whenever Illinois starts up with I-L-L! The Mizzou section responds with Go! To! HELL!

And finally, the least profane (and the one I always use) for kU games is Rawk! Squawk! Chickenhawk! BURN k-U! But that one is directed at the historical burning of Lawrence and the Chickenhawks really HATE that one...
