A 41% drop seems awfully high, and yeah it might just be because they lost Fresno/Hawaii/Nevada/Boise but like I said, they still had some good games.

I am also very confused about this deal but it make absolutely zero sense to give Boise a bonus just for being on national TV for the benefit of another conference. They get that money already either in the body bag fee. If they get a return trip which I understand giving them more money or a game that is worthy of national TV.

The BYU rumors picked up with various comments on radio (one involving the AFA radio guy in an Albuquerque interview, another from Colorado, another from Utah) and then Twitter. It's one of those "all-of-a-sudden-the-word-sprouts-in-several-different-places" things, I guess.

It's interesting that Andy Katz would stick this little tidbit of knowledge in the 3rd point of his 3-Point Shot rather that write a whole article on in it.

As for the part about SMU I wonder if its one of those obligatory promises of loyalty that schools make right before jumping conferences or if they are really that adamant about Big East-or-bust. This article sounds like the MWC has ruled out the 16 team idea. If they go to 14 my guess is that Houston and SMU are the picks and if SMU refuses UTEP gets the call. Tulsa will then get a call up to the Big East regardless of how this plays out.

The csn board goes full homer douche bag when posting about expansion. They have no logic and think they know how their Prez thinks.

Put me down as this, I don't think I've posted different since BSU came back.

nBE keeps SMU, Houston, adds Tulsa, (If Navy bails they pick 1 of UMass, S.Miss)
MWC adds SDSU (in a year if the added inventory of UTEP and UTSA is good enough to expand they'll add them)
BYU Indy
CUSA adds Arkansas St.
SBC adds App St., Georgia So. and 1 of NMSU(would only be added if the shame of adding yet another FCS school is too much :lol:
