But that logic don't allows jive with the Idaho invite, even being as a football only.

Yes, the balance division hole is in the east. However the Houston/Beaumont hole is west. Which is more important in the short term? Southeast Texas is bigger than 3 SBC states with 2 teams in each. Lets not ignore that fact.

You think Idaho as a football only is a big deal? 4 teams will travel to Moscow each year, that's it. South Alabama flew to Hawaii last year and Arkansas State flew to Oregon. Flying to Idaho every other year (if you're in the West) and every 4 years (if your in the East) is not a big deal. If you were flying all sports there then it would be.

Idaho was added because the Sun Belt didn't want to add more FCS upgrades because as of right now 1/2 of the teams in the league will be a recent upgrades. Idaho gives them an already FBS team which has some name recognition (however minimal), also Idaho and NMSU both offset the non-fb schools UTA/UALR which helps reduce travel for the schools in the West in all sport other than fb.

A little off-topic, but will either Idaho plans to build a proper football stadium on or off-campus, or its Kibble Dome gets re-modeled to comply with the FBS requirements to match, with about 30,000+ seats (if the school wants to still maintain in the FBS after leaving the WAC for re-joining the Big Sky in the 2014-15 season)? Otherwise, the Vandals must downgrade to FCS while re-modeling the Kibble Dome to at least 20,000 or 30,000 seats. I believe that New Mexico State should be next to leave the WAC and possibly either re-join the Sun Belt for all-sports (which the Aggies are currently re-joining, but as a football-only affiliate) or join C-USA.

Idaho invite tells me the SBC knew its 12th member long ago. Or it would have been wise to hold off on the Idaho invite so to use that extra spot as leverage.

The new Sun Belt logo looks legit. Hope that it would reflect with the recent future changes within the conference.

Speaking of logos, and a little off-topic, how about changing the conference logo icons? You know, the ones when you plan to post a reply and stuff? Like the ones in the America East, the Big Sky, and the WAC.

Come to think of it, will the announcement for this Wednesday be anything related with any membership expansion (i.e.: a school or 2 to replace Western Kentucky)?

translation: We'll take JMU when they're ready which would be after June 1 so they're still eligible for the 2013 fcs playoffs

Further translation: the Sun Belt has just been had.
James Madison to the CUSA along with probably Arkansas St.
This will leave the Sun Belt at 10 and no CCG. Then they will have to invite 2 (1 west and 1 east) to get to 12 and a CCG. Either Lamar or Sam Houston St. would be ok in the western half of the league, but who for the east? Liberty? Citadel? No-one else wants to move up. U. Tennessee - C. already said no along with Indiana St., Illinois St., and Missouri St.
What do you guys think? Will James Madison go CUSA like I suspect or will they come into the arms of the SBC?

Does CUSA still want 16 even after the new Playoff money tops out at 12 mill per conf. for the No One Cares About Us 5?

I doubt it. It makes zero sense. No one out there will improve their television contract and no one is worth sharing the $12 million with. The Sunbelt is safe; in fact, C-USA could simply decide to not replace the next two schools that leave.
