Sports Website Web Developer: SQL & PHP Intern

CollegeSportsInfo.com is seeking a highly motivated, well-organized Junior Web Developer to join the exciting world of online sports marketing. This position will be responsible for assisting in some backend tasks such as helping with the migration of the site to a new server. Tasks will focus on the SQL and PHP based forum community that will be moved to a new server.

LOCATION:
Work remotely from anywhere

REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant will be required to:

* Understand SQL (using a MySQL interface for the site)
* Basic understanding of PHP, which runs the site message boards

SKILLS:
Skills required include:
* Web development, SQL and PHP.

Sports Marketing – Jr. Web Designer

CollegeSportsInfo.com is seeking a highly motivated, well-organized Junior Web Designer to join the exciting world of online sports marketing. This position will be responsible for supporting our design staff through the creation, publication, maintenance and coordination of online products. Ideal candidate should have an interest in a potential career in graphic design, web design, web development or other related field and have some knowledge or interest in college football, college basketball and other NCAA sports.

LOCATION:
Work remotely from anywhere

REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant will be required to:

* Manipulate & resize simple images and graphics for use online.
* Update and maintain HTML pages on CollegeSportsInfo.com.
* Work with design team to develop new sites and products for the sales and marketing departments.
* Research and build simple Excel databases.
* Learn and grow as a design professional.

SKILLS:
Skills required include:
* Basic HTML
* WYSIWYG Editors such as Dreamweaver
* Internet experience
* Interest in college sports
* Photoshop
* FTP software
* Microsoft Office.
* CSS, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator and any other design skills a plus.

Sports Marketing – Online Advertising Intern

CollegeSportsInfo.com is seeking a highly motivated, well-organized Online Advertising & Marketing Intern to join the exciting world of online sports marketing. This position will be responsible for discovering websites that would be potential candidates to advertise on CollegeSportsInfo.com. Work will include using the internet to discover potential partner websites and creating detailed databases to support the existing sales staff. Interns will also work on databases of existing partners to maintain the advertisign schedules.

LOCATION:
Work remotely from anywhere

REQUIREMENTS:

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office a must
* Excel and basic database management skills.
* Basic research abilities for discovering and organizing potential advertising partner websites.
* Vast internet search abilities for research needs.
* Work with design team to develop new support tools.
* Learn and grow as an advertising & marketing professional.
* Excellent organizational skills
* Out-going and friendly personality, albeit via email; must be comfortable with contacting various companies and administrative contacts on marketing matters
* Knowledge of computers, search engines, networking sites
* Team player that works well individually
* Access to your own computer
