Texas Tech Fires Mike Leach

Dec 30th, 2009 | By | Category: College Football Coaching News, Featured News

Not sure how I feel about this. Leach has been very successful at the school and has a ton of support from current and former players. If there was anything intentional done to harm a player, well, that’s not good. But one thing is safe to say: the media can now stop using any “War” [...]

Arguably the top college football coach in the game, Urban Meyer has resigned from Florida. No scandals. Just his health after some recent incidents with dehydration and stress. Yesterday morning, following the Spiders’ loss to Appalachian State, Virginia officials formally requested permission from Richmond to speak to the Spiders’ head coach, a request that was granted. Kragthorpe Appears Out at Louisville

Nov 28th, 2009 | By | Category: College Football Coaching News, Featured News

Not much of a shocker as his tenure has been a struggle. Quite a shame as things went so well for him at Tulsa before making the move to Louisville. Kragthorpe went into the season knowing he needed to upgrade the teams performance, and it never happened, putting him high on the 2009 College Coaching [...]

Oct 15th, 2009 | By | Category: College Football Coaching News, Featured News

The University of Louisville has pegged Jon Gruden as its No. 1 candidate should the school decide to fire coach Steve Kragthorpe, sources told NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi.
