Sources say Big Ten expansion could go to 16 teams. They’d dominate the northeast if they added Boston College, UConn, Syracuse, Rutgers and Missouri. Talk about a power play. Adding one school seemed like enough, but adding 3-5 teams might be a better business decision. Crazy week.
With the talk of the Big Ten potentially expanding in the next 18 months, there are plenty of other conferences who now need to come up with contingency plans.
